Garden By The Bay

FLOWER DOME

Where plants from various countries came together and formed this dome!
No girls dislike flowers (apart from those who are allergic to pollen), when I first stepped into the dome, I went "waaaaaaaaaa~" So beautiful too beautiful!

Flower dome consists of Australian Garden (cactus seabed), The Baobabs, South African Garden, South American Garden, Mediterranean Garden, California Garden, Succulent Garden, Olive Grove (1000 years 'o plant) and Flower Field in the middle.

these cactus are planted there to mimic the seabed

Real root engraved into eagle which overlook the flower dome

Sister plants, same type different breed. And it's so soft when you touch it!

The flowers are fully blossomed and well maintained because of the air and temperature within the flower dome itself. Once these plants are brought outside to the open air, it will wilt and die :/

Looks like watermelon engraving!

The well-liked daisies

SUPERTREES GROVES
In forms of Golden Supertrees, Silver Supertrees and Red Supertress.
They are differentiated by the air plants that are growing on them!

View from the skywalk
Around the Supertress Grove are surrounded with different gardens:
Indian Garden, Chinese Garden, Malay Garden as well as Colonial Garden.

OCBC Skywalk which cost a SGD 5 in order to go up and talk a walk.
It's 5 storey btw. Is worth the money unless you have phobia of height!

CLOUD FOREST
Huge waterfall is designed and built in this dome.
Other than the waterfall, bridges and the places I've mentioned with phtoos, there are Earth Check and +5 Degree.
You will see these places for yourself when you are here!

The Falls - 6 storey high

These are located on level 6 - The Lost World
Left: North  Africa and South Africa Pitcher Plants

Crystal Mountain and Treetop Walk/ Cloud Walk
You can walk down from level 6 through these bridges and on the way down you can see plants which survive on the support of other plants and do not need soil to survive. Amazing, isn't it?

Left: Looks fake with the glossy texture but it's real! (I touched it! Oops!)

View from the ground level, behind the waterfall

Pouting snail :< at The Secret Garden

This is my favourite from Cloud Forest, The Moustached Pitcher with a pouch that looks like a lady's footwear!

This is the Asian Pitcher

Flowers everywhere and of course not to forget the romantic roses... They are blossomed so beautifully that you will never find them at any florist! Blood red colour, peach colour...

They reminded me of Beauty and the Beast! Right: different shades of yellow roses!

LASTLY, FLOWER BED!

Do visit Garden by the Bay if you love flowers and interested in horticulture! It only costs SGD 25 to enter both Flower Dome and Cloud Forest! No time limit! It is air-conditioned as flowers and plants need a cool environment to survive and be beautiful. ^^
